15/02/2014В В· Well, I came home last night with the Express 5:50 (2x12 combo). I had been spotting one on the used market at a fair price. The guy bought it last may but due to it's weight and size, he wanted to swap it for the Express 5:25 1x12 combo, so I snagged it last night. Mesa Boogie recently added the Express series of amplifiers to its vast line of tone generators. The Express is offered up in two formats to meet the musical tastes of players of any genre. The 5:25 features two EL84 power tubes and a smaller bottle design that lends itself to the early breakup and warmth heard in many vintage British amplifiers. I only need it for rehearsal, studio and small gigs. I play mostly blues rock and classic rock type stuff.
